Lower Elements Police

The Lower Elements Police are the protectors and defenders of the Lower Elements, specifically Haven City. Their hierarchy involves Corporals, Officers, Captains, Majors and Commanders. These all answer to The Council, which acts as the Fairy Government. There are several different sections in the LEP, including the following:

Traffic
These Fairies spend their time directing traffic and handing out parking fines. It is considered, by most Fairies, to be the worst section of the LEP to be working in. Unfortunately, every corporal has to work in Traffic before they're allowed to specialize.

Immigration
This section controls the visas and passports of the Fairies. They also monitor the amount of Fairies coming into Haven City, as tourism is one of the major sources of Haven City's income.

Reconnaissance
More commonly known as the LEPrecon, from which humans get the name Leprechaun, Reconnaissance specializes in tracking down Fairies who have escaped to the surface, and then pinpoint the Fairies exact location for Retrieval when they arrive.

Retrieval
The most dangerous section of the LEP, Retrieval specializes in capturing any Fairies who have escaped to the surface, and bringing them back down to the Lower Elements.

Operations
Known to the other LEP departments as 'Techies', Operations supplies the LEP with helmets, weapons, wings and shuttles. Foaly is in control of this section, and supplies other inventions as well, such as Iriscams, Camfoil and Finger Darts.
